Spanish Classes in Buenos Aires
Why Study Spanish
Studying Spanish is a delightful challenge (and adventure) for people hoping to expand their horizons, open new doors of understanding and create possibilities within their lives. Below you find a Spanish Language school which focuses their energy doing just this. Learn Spanish and you will have the ability to communicate with almost 500 million Spanish speaking-people worldwide.
After trying several Spanish schools in Buenos Aires finally I found The Royal Family, the first one in which I felt comfortable from the very first moment I got into the place. The Royal Family is a hetero-friendly language school where the main focus lays on the gay culture in Argentina. With bright classrooms, friendly teachers and a great atmosphere, this School offers intensive Spanish individual and group courses. Furthermore they offer special crash courses. They provide you with updated books and entertaining material, such as movies and games that guide you throughout the learning process. They are located in the heart of the city, close by the Plaza del Congreso. The language school is part of a travel agency, so in case you need a hand by planning your trips just step by at the office and ask. There is free use of internet and you can serve yourself water, coffee and tea at any moment you like.

The idea of The Royal Family Argentina is to start a different, creative and original way of traveling for gays and lesbians. In that way also meet other people through the language school and social activities organized by the company.
The Spanish lessons will be much different then you will experience at other language schools around, teachers (gay or very gay-friendly) will make you more comfortable when you want to travel, go out and when you meet people. Not just around a table and learning, but also to practice directly the “reality”. Learn for example also the different “slang” from the city and from the gay-community in Buenos Aires.

I started working as a Spanish teacher 5 years ago in Madrid, Spain. I was living there in 2003 and decided to take the “Spanish for foreigners teaching course” at International House, Madrid, because I really wanted a job that allowed me to meet people from different countries. At first the plan was to teach for a couple of months, but then I enjoyed it so much that it became my full time job in 2005, and I love it. I get to meet lots and lots of people from all over the world, and it is even more exciting that we both learn about each other cultures while learning our language. |

Passionate towards what I do, as Argentinean native speaker I first studied tourism and literature at University and in a trip to Scandinavia I discovered the great adventure of teaching my own language and culture to people who are interested. Two years ago I obtained a degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language to Foreigners, and since then on always learning more and more and finding new ways to transmit the magical Spanish in a significant and communicative form, based on students needs. |

My name is Daniel Fernandez and I am an Argentine native speaker with a university degree in teaching Spanish as a Second Language to Foreigners. I try not only to tailor-make my classes to your wishes and needs, but also to teach you something about my country and its culture. To me, it is very important that besides learning something, you enjoy my lessons and therefore I believe in an active participation of my students. |
