What is Aesthetic Medicine?
Aesthetic Medicine, a recently appointed branch
of Medicine, repairs and prevents the effects of aging
consistently with these premises. It accomplishes ever-evolving
procedures, which become less expensive and more efficient
each day.
The fact that Peelings, Mesotherapy, Botox and Refills
have become words of every day use, evidences how successfully
this branch of Medicine has been accepted by the public.
In my comfortable office in Palermo, City of Buenos
Aires, I take care of patients who come often to find
out about these new marvels of Medicine. I also perform
treatments to prevent aging, repair skin damage caused
by the pass of time, treat pathological processes such
as cellulite or stretch lines, repair consequences of
severe acne or scars, and eliminate unaestheticisms
caused by varices, among other pathologies.
PEELINGS
The way to regenerate the skin
There are several kinds of peelings. The ones I perform
in my office are among those called chemical peelings,
or peelings with acid substances. These substances stimulate
the desquamation of the skin's superficial layers, improving
its look, smothering the color, eliminating spots and
making it possible to achieve a natural, silky shine.
In addition, the peelings operate at a deeper level
by stimulating fiber blasts, hindered by the natural
process of aging, so that these start manufacturing
appropriate amounts of quality collagen and elastin.
The acids I utilize are mandelic (extracted from almonds),
citric, hydroxicitric, glycolic and kojic. I also utilize
modern mixtures of polyhidroxiacids.
BOTOX
Goodbye to face lifting
Dysport and Botox are the new methods for "ironing"
the expression wrinkles that dramatically age the face.
It is widely used to treat forehead lines, frown wrinkles
and crow's feet.
The toxin (attenuated and therefore totally harmless)
relaxes the face's muscles, effectively leaving the
skin soft, smooth, silky and young, for a period between
five to ten months.
REFILLS
The path to attractive lips and dissimulating lines
and scars
There are a series of substances utilized for refilling
lips, scars and wrinkles.
And their application will take up only a small fraction
of your lunch time.
MESOTHERAPY
The solution imported from France
When cellulite or local adiposities are treated using
externally applied products, a high proportion of that
product evaporates and only a small portion actually
enters the skin.
Mesotherapy allows, through tiny injections of only
a few millimeters deep, to deposit the product beneath
the skin. In this way the following products are applied:
vitamin A, coenzyme Q, gingko biloba, centella asiatica,
zinc, copper, DNA and hialuronic acid.
