You will be transferred from Buenos Aires International Airport to your hotel.
DAY 1 )
Gaucho introduction
We will have breakfast at the hotel
In the morning, you will have Spanish lessons (basics 1) and learn about the history of the gaucho. At 13.00 p.m. there is an empanada snack.
We will have a late lunch at a barbeque restaurant at around 15.00 p.m. and drink maté in the late afternoon. You will have a free night in Buenos Aires.
DAY 2)
Estancia La Plegaria
After an early breakfast in the hotel we go to La Plegaria where we will spend a whole day on an Argentine ‘estancia’. Lunch is included.
You will spend the night in San Antonio de Areco, a real gaucho town. There is the opportunity to party in the hottest club nearby: in club Zona X.
DAY 3)
San Antonio de Areco
You have a free Sunday in San Antonio to sleep in and to explore the town for yourself. At the end of the day we will shift to estancia Santa Maria in Gualeguaychú, where we have dinner and ‘meet the staff’.
DAY 4)
A night in the wild
In the morning, you will have Spanish lessons (basics 2), followed by a tour around the neighbourhood of the estancia. After lunch, you will be prepared for the ultimate 24 hour gaucho experience: on horseback we will go to the river, camp in the wild and have an Argentine ‘asado’ (barbeque) for dinner. You can enjoy an open fire and live gaucho music and dances.
DAY 5)
100% Gaucho
After breakfast we will ride back to estancia, where we have lunch around the swimming pool. The afternoon is free, with the possibility to see the town of Gualagayue. After dinner you will have the opportunity to learn gaucho-dances.
DAY 6)
Night to the gauchos
In the morning, you will have Spanish lessons (basics 3). After lunch, we will prepare the night show ‘night to the gauchos’. After dinner, we will perform our own show and have a DJ (special act).
DAY 7)
Uruguay hot springs
After breakfast, we leave for Uruguay. After lunch you have a free afternoon to enjoy ‘the hot springs’
We will stay overnight in Colonia de Sacramento.
DAY 8)
Uruguay – Buenos Aires
Today we will do sightseeing Colonia. Then we will be sailing back to Buenos Aires and have a gourmet-lunch on board. Back at the hotel we will have a farewell dinner to end the programme with.
